Komodo, by Private Boat
Six days in Labuan Bajo and Komodo National Park, flying from Bali
Labuan Bajo, at the western tip of Flores, is the gateway to Komodo National Park, a UNESCO site of dry hills, bays and coral reefs. It is where you can see the Komodo dragon in the wild. This trip is built around two private boat days: one for Komodo and Rinca islands and their rangers, and one for beaches and snorkelling. You sleep on land, at a beach resort a few minutes from town, rather than aboard a boat, and fly in from Bali in about an hour.
This is a starting-point itinerary — we adapt every detail to your travel dates, interests, pace, and group. Speak to our concierge to begin.

April to November
The dry season, with calm seas and the clearest water. July and August are the busiest months. Manta rays are most often seen from December to March, but that is the wetter season and the sea can be rough.
Less suited: January and February, the height of the rains, when boat trips are sometimes cancelled
from €250 per person per day
This is an indication, not a quote. It adds up the lowest published entry-level rates we found for the hotel we priced at each stage, plus the cost of a private guide and car, divides by 2 travellers and 6 days, and rounds up to the next €50. Peak-season rates, larger rooms and the other hotels named above will change it. Your quote will be built on your dates.
