Private 2-Day Angkor Temples with Sunrise Option
Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm and Banteay Srei over two unhurried days with a private licensed guide

What makes this different
Angkor is too large for one day if you want to look at the carvings rather than tick off names. This private two-day tour from Siem Reap splits the temples into two themed days and keeps the group to your own party, so you can slow down where something interests you and move on where it does not.
Day 1 covers the walled city of Angkor Thom and its southern gate, the faces of the Bayon, the Baphuon temple mountain, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, then Ta Prohm, where tree roots have grown over the galleries, and finally Angkor Wat. Day 2 takes you to the Grand Circuit temples: Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som and East Mebon, then Banteay Srei, known for its pink sandstone carving, and Pre Rup. Your guide collects you at the hotel at 08:30 and brings you back to Siem Reap in the afternoon.
The listing offers two additions. You can add a sunrise at Angkor Wat on Day 2, with a 05:00 pickup and a finish around midday, and you can choose a third day to Phnom Kulen, Beng Mealea and a floating village on Tonlé Sap Lake. Those extras carry their own tickets.
Plan the costs carefully. The Angkor entrance pass is not included in the price: it is US$62 per person for two to three days, and children under 12 enter free with a passport as proof of age. Lunch and drinks are also extra, and your guide can help you order at a local restaurant. Shoulders and knees must be covered at the temples, so shorts, short skirts and sleeveless tops are not allowed; scarves are accepted. Bring comfortable shoes, a hat, sunglasses, insect repellent and some cash.
Transport depends on the size of your group. One or two travellers use a tuk-tuk on Day 1 and a private car on the following days, while groups of three or more have an air-conditioned van or bus throughout. The listing says only your group takes part. The tour is not suitable for wheelchair users, babies under one year or people over 95.
The operator is Vamos Camboja Turismo, and the tour is booked through GetYourGuide with free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start. The listing was offered with several language options for the guide, and the order of the stops is described as subject to change.
