Niseko: A Week in the Powder

Seven days of skiing in Hokkaido's best-known mountain resort

7 days / 6 nightsPrivate, 2 to 6 guestsNiseko · Hokkaido
Overview

Niseko receives some of the deepest, driest snow of any ski area in Asia, and the four resorts of Niseko United share a single lift pass. This is a skiing week, built around a private instructor for three of the days and a free choice of terrain for the others. Evenings are for the onsen and for dinner in Hirafu village. The route is simple: fly to New Chitose airport near Sapporo, transfer to Niseko by private car, and stay in one place for six nights.

This is a starting-point itinerary — we adapt every detail to your travel dates, interests, pace, and group. Speak to our concierge to begin.

Best time to go

Mid-January to mid-February

The coldest weeks of the year, and the driest powder. Late December and the Japanese New Year are the busiest and most expensive times, and the lift pass is at its peak price. March is milder, with a bright spring-skiing feel.

Less suited: Early December (the snow base can still be thin) and April (the lifts begin to close)

How we calculate the price

from €350 per person per day

This is an indication, not a quote. It adds up the lowest published entry-level rates we found for the hotel we priced at each stage, plus the cost of a private guide and car, divides by 2 travellers and 7 days, and rounds up to the next €50. Peak-season rates, larger rooms and the other hotels named above will change it. Your quote will be built on your dates.
